Because of the resemblance, many have called this stunning national stadium ‘Bird’s Nest.’ It can host up to 91,000 spectators and is due to complete in March to welcome the Olympics during the 8-24 of August. China has booked this very place of the event’s grand opening.

Get yourself ready before taking a lap in this swimming pool, because it is guaranteed by Guinness World Record to be the largest pool in the world. Located at San Alfonso Del Mar Resort in Chile, the pool spreads across the 20 acre land and is 35 meter deep; therefore, some 66 million gallon of water can fill the pool. With the size equivalent to 6,000 standard pools, this lagoon costs around 2 billion US dollars with 5 years under construction. It will require some 4 million US dollars to be well-maintained (so, are all these worth it?).
