The ‘Telestroscope’ artwork can be considered another landmark in London as it draws attention from passer-bys. Created by Paul St. George, the Telestroscope offers Londoners a chance to see real-time views of New York. For those who’d like to try it for yourself, one Telestroscope is situated near the Thames River, close to Tower Bridge Building, while another is located at Fulton Ferry Landing near Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
Get yourself ready before taking a lap in this swimming pool, because it is guaranteed by Guinness World Record to be the largest pool in the world. Located at San Alfonso Del Mar Resort in Chile, the pool spreads across the 20 acre land and is 35 meter deep; therefore, some 66 million gallon of water can fill the pool. With the size equivalent to 6,000 standard pools, this lagoon costs around 2 billion US dollars with 5 years under construction. It will require some 4 million US dollars to be well-maintained (so, are all these worth it?).
Don’t be alarmed when you see this giant chicken stranded on Bradford Beach in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is the creation of Nicolas Lampert and Micaela O’ Hearlihy, who built the gigantic chick from polystyrene and covered it with latex paint and lacquer. The giant chicken has been showcased at many places around the United States and attracted people’s attention, true to its name ‘Attention Chicken!’.

The Ark you saw is the replica of Noah’s Ark. It’s the work of Johan Huibers, Dutch building contractor. The length of the Ark is in half, the width is the third of the original which take on board the representatives of all the animals. The Ark is built from cedar from USA and pine from Norway. Even though its size is 5 times smaller than the original Noah’s Ark, the impression is, comparable.
Finally the Nairobi National Museum at the capital of Kenya, Nairobi is opened for public after the big renovation since 2005. The museum is now twice bigger than it was. Plus more facilities, exhibition halls, and science labs. The cost of the renovation is 14.5 million USD. The project was supported by European Union. Good news to kids who look for learning opportunity outside school!

The artist made freehand drawing in sand on the dry lake in Nevada. The drawing is 3-mile big. He was walking more than 100 miles to complete the drawing. Not only talent and creativity, this work of art requires courage and effort. Don’t you think?
